About the designer.
Joanna Rajaratnam is the founder and creative director of Corpus Luxe, a contemporary womenswear label rooted in elegance, intention, and sensuality. A graduate of the Fashion Arts program at Seneca College and a seasoned stylist with over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, Joanna brings a discerning eye for design, proportion, and emotional resonance.
Her work is driven by a deep fascination with fabric as a sculptural medium exploring how textile manipulation, texture, and movement can shape narrative and form. From drape to structure, she approaches each garment as a tactile story, prioritizing craftsmanship and the intimate connection between clothing and self.
With a background spanning luxury retail, personal styling, and editorial direction, Joanna created Corpus Luxe to celebrate women through magnetic, wearable design. Her debut collection, La Femme Magnétique, premiered at Fashion Art Toronto 2025.
